항공영어구술능력증명시험(English Proficiency Test for Aviation)은 ICAO (국제 민간항공기구)가 정한 평가기준

에 따라 다음과 같이 평가됩니다.

Comprehension 문장 이해력 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s ability to understand and interpret the tasks presented in the test and the speaker’s ability to follow the test instructions and directions. 수험자가 문제를 정확히 이해하고 적절한 답을 할 수 있는지를 평가합니다. Structure 문장 구성력 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s ability to apply the correct grammatical structures and sentence patterns, as well as the examinee’s appropriate use of the functions of the English language, according to the scenario in which they are used, whether in a general or in an aeronautical context. 수험자의 올바른 문장 구성력, 문법 및 시제 등 적절한 영어의 사용 능력을 평가합니다. Vocabulary 어휘 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s ability to use appropriate English words or aviation terms as required in aeronautical communications, and the extent and precision of the terminology used. 수험자의 적절한 영어단어 사용, 항공의사소통에 필요한 풍부하고 정확한 항공용어 사용 능력을 평가합니다. Pronunciation 발음 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s ability to make himself understood, through his/her effective use of a dialect or accent that is understood by the aeronautical community. 수험자의 강세, 억양, 리듬을 평가합니다. Fluency 유창도 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s flow of speech and degree of spontaneity as well as facility in the performance of the required tasks, whether general or aviation-related 수험자 스피치의 자연스러움과 유려함을 평가합니다. Interaction 상호 응대 The rater evaluates and measures the speaker’s ability to initiate and maintain immediate, appropriate, and informative exchanges in aeronautical communications as well as the ease in which the speaker captures verbal and non-verbal cues, while managing the speaker-listener relationship effectively. 수험자의 적절한 응답속도와 내용을 평가합니다.

주1) 각 등급별 평균점수는 소수점 첫째자리에서 반올림 합니다. 주2) 각 항목별 평가 결과 평균등급에 해당되는 최저 점수보다 미달되는 항목이 있을 경우에는 한 등급을 하향조정합니다.

시험결과에 대한 채점은 항공법 시행규칙 별표36에서 정한 전문 평가위원에 의해 각각 3인이 교차 채점하여 점수를 산정합니다. 채점은 평가위원별로 ICAO 부속서 1에서 정한 별표1의 등급기준에 따른 항목별 점수를 산정하고,각 항목별 등급은 전문평가위원이 채점한 점수의 평균값에 항공안전본부 고시 제 2006-26호 별표2의 등급환산표를 적용하여 결정합니다. 최종 등급결정은 제2항의 규정에 의한 6개 항목별 평균등급 중 1개 항목이라도 낮은 등급으로 결정되었을 경우 낮은 등급으로 결정합니다.

항공영어 구술시험 수험자는 다음과 같이 6개의 등급으로 평가됩니다.

Expert, Level 6 Extended, Level 5 Operational, Level 4 Pre-operational, Level 3 Elementary, Level 2 Pre-elementary, Level 1
